The Confession

“I Was HR.”

I spent 30 years sitting in the chair most employees fear. The executive HR seat, the one that decides who’s believed and who’s dismissed.

I watched good people lose their jobs, reputations, and peace because they didn’t know how the system really worked. Not because they were wrong, but because they didn’t have the right record.

I was the rare HR who refused to stay silent. When managers demanded I “stand down,” I didn’t.

When they told me “you work for the company, not the employees,” I said “No. I work for the truth.”

And it cost me.

My career.

My reputation.

My seat at the table.

But what I saw behind those closed doors - the manipulation, the manufactured files, the cover stories - that became the blueprint for HR Armor™.
